Beef tallow, olive oil, and coconut oil are blended so each complements the others: coconut oil contributes bubbly lather and cleansing power, tallow creates a firm, long-lasting bar with a creamy lather, and olive oil helps balance the two. Unscented and uncomplicated, it’s a hardworking bar made with a short list of recognizable ingredients.
Made with locally sourced beef tallow, this bar puts an often-overlooked part of the animal to good use. The tallow is blended with 100% California olive oil and organic, unrefined virgin coconut oil.
Each batch is made by hand using the traditional cold-process method. The tallow and oils are combined with sodium hydroxide and distilled water to begin saponification. During the reaction, they form soap and glycerin. The bars are then left to cure before they’re ready to use.
Ingredients: Beef tallow, distilled water, coconut oil, olive oil, and sodium hydroxide.
Unscented with no added fragrance, colorants, or preservatives.
